Feeding
Cherry barbs accept live food as well as vegetables based food. Feed them larvae, granules, tablets, flakes, brine shrimp.
Sexing
You can see a female on the picture. Females are rounder than males, and males are red in colour.
Breeding
Egg-layers. Cherry barbs lay eggs on plants. Fry hatch in 2 days. Offer hiding places such as plants to newborns, otherwise they’d be eaten by parents. Newborns should be fed artemia salina.
