Food and feeding
Try to give Tinfoil barbs a varied diet. They will happily accept quality flake and pellets for the staple diet. For meaty foods offer them blood worms, white worms, chopped mussels and shrimp pellets.

Asia; Tinfoil barbs can be found in Indonesia, Malaya, Singapore and Thailand
Sexing
There are no visible differences between the sexes.
Breeding
Tinfoil barbs are typical egg scatterers. Because of the adult size of these fish it is virtually impossible to breed these in an ordinary aquarium.

As mentioned above. Tinfoil barbs can grow very large up to 14 inches in length and this is often not realised when they are bought as juveniles.
